The brief

Allavi's UK store ran on WooCommerce. It needed to move to Shopify cleanly, with nothing lost in the move, and onto a setup that could carry more than one brand without each one becoming its own project.

What we built

One migration process, built for more than one brand.

We consolidated the WooCommerce exports into clean product data, then defined Allavi's design tokens so the brand's look lives in settings rather than hard-coded templates.

Collections were rebuilt as smart collections, ready for a Matrixify import, and we generated the metafields that style each product page. The result is a store where adding another brand means new tokens and data, not a new build.

Conversion, built for the UK

For an Indian D2C store, we'd reach for a checkout layer like GoKwik, Shiprocket Checkout or Razorpay Magic Checkout to lift conversion. The UK has no equivalent, so we custom-built the conversion features into the store itself, around how UK shoppers buy: free-delivery thresholds, multi-buy savings and clear returns.

Brand tabs and a live offer bar

A tab bar at the very top moves between brands without leaving the store, so one cart carries across all of them. Under it, a rotating announcement bar carries each brand's current offer.

Buy more, save more

Every serum page has a tier picker showing the saving for one, two, or three or more, and a live line telling the shopper how many more to add for the next tier. The saving is applied automatically at checkout, so there's no code to find or forget.

A sticky bar that sells the bundle

As shoppers scroll, a sticky bar keeps the price, the tier saving and two buttons in reach: add to cart, or add the product with a matching item from a sister brand at a bundle price.

Free-delivery progress in the cart

Free UK delivery unlocks at two items or £50, and the cart drawer shows both routes to it: one more item, or the amount left to spend. Tier savings show on each cart line as soon as they apply.

Complete your routine

Product pages pair a serum with a supplement from a sister brand, show the bundle price, and add both in one tap. It turns the multi-brand setup into a bigger basket rather than a separate visit.

Around it all, a trust bar under the hero answers the usual hesitations up front: free UK delivery, 30-day returns, a European lab and fragrance-free formulas.

The key moves

  1. Consolidated exports. WooCommerce data cleaned up and merged before anything moved.
  2. Brand tokens. Allavi's colours and styling defined once and applied across the theme.
  3. Matrixify-ready collections. Smart collections built for a controlled, repeatable import.
  4. Metafield-driven product pages. Product page styling generated from data, ready for more brands.
  5. Conversion built into the theme. Tiered savings, delivery nudges and cross-brand bundles, with no checkout app to lean on.

The outcome

Allavi UK moved to Shopify on a multi-brand foundation: one process, one theme, and brand-specific styling driven by tokens and metafields. Every page now gives shoppers a reason to add one more item, from the offer bar to the cart.

“Build the system once, then add brands to it.”
