What You Will Do:

1. Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python/Django, ensuring scalability and reliability 
2. Design and optimise relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, to support high-throughput applications
3. Implement robust data structures and algorithms to handle large volumes of data efficiently
4. Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend functionality seamlessly
5. Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines to ensure code quality and reliability.
6. Utilise your expertise in building scalable RESTful APIs and services to support B2B applications
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in backend development

What You Should Have:

1. You have minimum 3 months of internship experience in backend role
2. Proficiency in Python/Django and and API-driven application development
3. Strong understanding of relational databases, particularly Postgres
4. Experience with data structures and algorithms for handling large-scale data processing
5. Familiarity with testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines 
6. Basic understanding of frontend and client-side frameworks such as React, Angular  or Vue 
7. Experience with Elasticsearch, Redis and distributed caches/queues is a plus
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering efficient and scalable solutions
9. Ability to work effectively in a team, collaborating with cross-functional units to achieve project goals
10. Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing project needs and technologies
